Here's Annie's version of the N Sync concert in San Antonio:
It was around 4:00 on August 16 when we (my best friend teryn from
kansas,my sister amanda and I) left to go to the Nsync concert in
San Antonio. On our way to San Antonio we stopped at a little town
to eat dinner at McDonalds. We were all so excited we ate as fast as
we could for we could hurry and get to the concert. The second we got into
San Antonio we were all so hyper because in just a few
hours we were going to see Nsync and we were in the home town of the
champions the Spurs:o) We got a block away from the alamodome when
we started to hear screaming fans as they entered the building. We
were deffinitely pumped. My parents dropped us off and then we went
up the 3 flights of stairs to get to the entrance. As soon as we got
to the door my sister realized she had forgotten the tickets in her
purse. We immediately ran to ask people for 35 cents to call my
parents. To our suprise it would of cost us $2.75 to place the call
because our cell phone was on rome. Right as we were getting ready
to give up hope my mom came running up the stairs saying"These might
help you think?" We were never so happy to see her before in our lives(j/k)
we entered the building and headed up to our seats in
section 365. We then waited patiently for the concert to start(ha
yeah right). We went through the pre-shoes and all that and we
listened to Jordan Knight(i liked him better in New Kids On The
Block:o). Then it came time for you know who. NSYNC!!!!! It started
out with a little video clip and then they came down by these little
ropes. It was really neat. They started out singing HERE WE GO!!!! (Note from
Matika: My song!)
One of my favorite songs by the way. Then they started singing some
more songs and then Lance got on to speak. When they finally got the
croud silent i (of course) screamed at the top of my lungs(not
thinking he'd hear me) "I LOVE YOU LANCE". Guess what happened. He
heard me. Just my luck huh. Well he looked up and started laughing
and then he waved right at my section and blew me a kiss. I know he
was blowing me a kiss cause i was on the camera and i was the only
one standing up in the whole section. I was so embarressed i sat
down real quick and i turned really red! (NFM: Why couldn't that be me?) well
after that we couldnt
hear anymore because we were sitting like right behind the huge
speakers. We actually had to plug our ears to hear the words. It was
really funny. Nsync kept on singing and dancing and doing a really
good job when 10:50 rolled around. We had to leave the concert at
11:00 because most of the group we were leaving with had to be home
because they had school the next day. (NFM: My group :) )I was soo bummed
cause i still
had 3 weeks before my school started. Well come to find out the last
song came on( we had already left our seats and were looking for the
section that had the rest of the group). The last song was TEARIN
UP MY HEART! we missed the last song which everyone said was
awesome:o( (NFM: Haha I saw it! :Þ hehe she's my best bud, I can say that :)
) We had a really good time at the concert. I loved their
stage pressence. Well that sums up my NSYNC experience. Thanks for
